[ Where Prompto's minding his own business, Gladio's doing the very
thing he does without so much as thinking about it at this point: he's
paying every bit of attention to his surroundings, which...obviously
includes the people within them. It's the first thing he does, no matter
where he is in public. Which is why it doesn't take him long to notice
someone acting... odd, over in the corner of his eye.
Or to notice that this very same individual is knocking a...
ridiculous... number of oranges into the floor (okay, but... he can't blame
someone for wanting to buy that much fruit, all things considered). There's
a long, very quiet sigh as he makes his way over, lowering his own basket
to the floor before he begins helping the pair in their efforts. He gathers
the fruits, two at a time in some cases, and carefully slides his portion
into the bag.
After taking a moment to offer his hand to the woman (mainly out of
habit, since she doesn't visibly seem to be struggling to stand or
anything), he gives her a smile and wishes her well... and then picks up
his own basket, possibly seeming to be ignoring Prompto altogether. That
is, until a casual-- ] So...
[ --slips out. He's keeping his expression calm, but there's a
sharpness in his gaze as it's cut back over to Prompto. He sure is glancing
at the arm. And he sure does notice the guilty demeanor. Police work isn't
a hobby for him, buddy. You're about to get unofficially... interrogated.
Or something. ] How's that arm treatin' ya?
